| ACH | Automated Clearing House, electronic bank-to-bank payment network used for direct debits and credits. |
| AML | Anti-money laundering, compliance controls to detect and prevent money laundering activity. |
| API | Application programming interface, the programmatic interface used to integrate with ConcordLink. |
| APR | Annual percentage rate, the yearly interest rate charged on a loan or obligation. |
| ARM | Adjustable-rate mortgage, a loan with an interest rate that changes periodically. |
| BK | Bankruptcy, used in status codes and notes to indicate an obligor has filed for bankruptcy protection. |
| BSA | Bank Secrecy Act, federal law requiring financial institutions to assist in detecting money laundering. |
| CB | Chargeback, a reversed transaction, typically initiated by the payment processor or bank. |
| CCPA | California Consumer Privacy Act, state privacy law governing consumer data rights. |
| CFPB | Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, federal agency overseeing consumer financial products. |
| CO | Charge-off, an account written off as uncollectible after prolonged delinquency. |
| CPA | Consumer payment account, a stored payment method (bank account or card) on file for an obligor. |
| CRA | Credit reporting agency, an organization (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) that maintains credit files. |
| CRF | Customer Request Form, an internal email request for account-level actions between teams. |
| CSC | Concord Servicing Corporation, the parent company. |
| DFC | Daily finance charge, the per-day interest amount calculated on an obligation's principal balance. |
| DLQ | Delinquent/delinquency, indicates the obligor has missed one or more scheduled payments. |
| DNC | Do not contact, a flag indicating the obligor has requested no outbound communication. |
| DPD | Days past due, the number of calendar days since the last missed payment due date. |

| EFT | Electronic funds transfer, any electronic movement of money between accounts. |
| ETL | Extract, transform, load, data integration process for importing or exporting portfolio data. |
| FCRA | Fair Credit Reporting Act, federal law governing credit reporting accuracy and dispute resolution. |
| FDCPA | Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, federal law limiting debt collection contact frequency and practices. |
| GL | General ledger, the master accounting record that tracks all financial transactions. |
| GUID | Globally unique identifier, a system-generated ID string used to identify records in ConcordLink. |
| HOA | Homeowners association, a common client type whose assessments and dues are serviced in ConcordLink. |
| INT | Interest, the cost of borrowing money; a common ledger bucket in payment waterfalls. |
| LC | Late charge, a fee assessed when a payment is not received by its due date or grace period. |
| LCM | Limited-content message, a legally compliant voicemail format under FDCPA/TCPA rules. |

| MOD | Modification, a renegotiated obligation where terms (rate, term, or payment) are changed. |
| NACHA | National Automated Clearing House Association, the organization governing ACH payment rules. |
| NSF | Non-sufficient funds, a returned payment due to inadequate balance in the obligor's bank account. |
| OBL | Obligation, the account record in ConcordLink representing a single loan, lease, or billing relationship. |
| OBR | Obligor, the borrower or co-borrower linked to an obligation. |
| PIF | Paid in full, status indicating the obligation balance has been satisfied completely. |
| PMT | Payment, shorthand used in activity logs and ledger entries. |
| POA | Power of attorney, a legal authorization allowing a third party to act on behalf of the obligor. |
| PRIN | Principal, the original loan amount or remaining balance excluding interest and fees. |
| PTP | Promise to pay, a verbal or written commitment from the obligor to make a payment by a specific date. |

| RPC | Right-party contact, confirmed communication with the actual obligor (not a third party). |
| SCRA | Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, federal protection for active-duty military (rate cap, no fees). |
| SFTP | Secure File Transfer Protocol, encrypted file transfer method used for data imports and exports. |
| SOC | System and Organization Controls, audit framework (SOC 1, SOC 2) for service organizations. |
| SSN | Social Security number, used for credit reporting and identity verification. |
| TCPA | Telephone Consumer Protection Act, federal law governing call frequency and consent requirements. |
| TIN | Taxpayer identification number, used for tax reporting (1098, 1099) on obligations. |

| UAT | User acceptance testing, the testing phase before a new configuration or feature goes live. |
| UPB | Unpaid principal balance, the remaining principal amount owed on an obligation. |

| WO | Write-off, an accounting action removing an uncollectible balance from the active portfolio. |
